On Wednesday , five children from Year 6 attended a STEM (Science, Technology,   Engineering, Mathematics) workshop at St  Wilfrid’s School.

The children took part in a ‘desert  island challenge’ which involved a  series of experiments designed to help them with               survival skills.  These experiments included purifying water, designing and building a bridge and making a flare using jelly babies! The children thoroughly enjoyed the morning and the workshop leader commended their enthusiasm and attitude.
