* Spellings will be sent home in their Spelling Practice book on a Wednesday and tested the following Monday.  It is crucial in Year 2 that your children learn their spellings in order for them to reach the end of year expectations. 

  * Reading books need to be in school every day.  Your child will read on specific days each week as part of our Guided Reading sessions.  Please ensure that your child reads as much as possible at home each week and that this is recorded in their Reading Record.  

 * P.E. lessons will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  If your child wears earrings, they will need to be removed by yourself or them prior to the sessions.  Children are unable to participate when wearing earrings or any other kind of jewellery that have not been removed or taped in special circumstances (such as fresh piercings that cannot be removed).  Our Thursday sessions for this half term will be led by Chelsea Football Club, and all children will need a suitable outdoor kit including trainers to take part.
