The art competition was set up by Gatwick in partnership with EasyJet to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
Whilst all children created a celebratory piece in the art studio, Years 5 & 6 were invited to send some pieces in to the competition.
Children were chosen from different Crawley schools, we were the only school lucky enough to have 3 winners selected!
Pupils have won a day out exploring Gatwick airport including a flight simulator, an opportunity to use the emergency slide, a drive along the runway and a visit to the control tower! An experience money can’t buy !
Also, we were informed that Southern Rail loved the artworks so much that they may use them as a permanent display at the airport –watch this space!
Well done to Year 6 children who won: Amelia, Frances and Rhys
