On Wednesday, our KS2 choir performed at the world’s largest school choir concert at the London O2 Arena! They performed alongside 8,140 other children as a single choir to capacity audiences of family and friends. It was a truly amazing musical experience of singing and dancing that they will never forget. The choir even sang with Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet to some of his greatest hits including ‘True’ and ‘Gold’! Please take a look at our website for our amazing videos. Thank you to Mr Szymczyk and to all the staff for accompanying the children and giving them this wonderful opportunity.
Several parents have commented on how much they enjoyed the evening with their children. One said:
“I attended the Young Voices choir show at the O2 last night to watch my son Ethan. I would be massively grateful if you could pass my thanks on to all the teachers and staff involved. It was a marvellous event and I’m so pleased the school played a part in it. It will be something that I hope Ethan remembers for years to come. To see so many children fill such a venue with their voices was a sight and sound I will treasure. Congratulations on being part of such a wonderful event. “
