We are very fortunate to be able to help others both in our local community and across the globe.
We will be running a number of fundraising events this year, starting with a Macmillan Coffee Morning which will be run by Year 3 soon after half term.
On Tuesday 9th October, we welcomed representatives from Crawley Open House and The Easter Team to St. Clare’s class assembly where we presented them with the food donations that we had collected. May we thank you for your harvest offerings which will support these local charities.
In June 2018, Mr Lambert and the school council organised the Race for Life which was ran by children, parents and teachers. We raised £3000 for Cancer Research! Thank you to the PFA who helped run the event. More details about the day can be found in the article below:
In June of this year, the school choir took part in the Community Charity Concert, which was organised by Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Primary School and hosted by St Wilfrid’s Catholic School. The concert raised £1210 in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice.
At the end of our Carol Service at the Friary, we collected money for HomeStart charity. We managed to collect £125.
In September 2017, children and parents brought in tins, packets and cans of food for the Harvest Collection. This food was then donated to Crawley Open House.
